Timbers & Workshop

There are two very important questions to consider when selecting solid timber furniture:

•    Is the design in harmony with the wood?
•    Does the construction work with the individual characteristics of the timber such as grain, density and movement?

With almost two decades of experience in design and construction of solid timber furniture, Coopers Store is dedicated to fulfilling both these points in every piece we create.

Coopers can offer an impressive range of timbers from Australia and New Zealand for use in our hand crafted furniture:

Eco-friendly timber

Coopers has long been part of a small but dedicated group of furniture makers leading the way with eco-friendly recycled and reclaimed Australian hardwoods.

These timbers are sourced all over Australia, from demolished homes, factories, historic buildings, wool sheds, wharfs and salvaged trees.

This is a growing practice, with consumers appreciating the unique character of these timbers, as well as the benefit of preventing this precious resource ending up in landfill.

If you are looking for furniture that has a story, character and beauty all to itself, a bespoke piece that is as individual as you are, then ask us about these timbers:
